Charles H. Parker, Sr.

Charles H. Parker, Sr., 80, resident of New Ipswich, NH, died on November 3, 2016 at his home. He was born in Goffstown, NH on July 21, 1936, a son of Charles H. and Lena (Frost) Parker. He made his home in New Ipswich for the past two years and formerly lived in Litchfield, NH for several years and Hollis, NH for many years. Mr. Parker had been employed by Thibodeau Paving Company, Greenville, NH for 30 years and retired from Thornton Paving Company, Hudson, NH. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed camping and traveling. For many years, he and his wife made laurel wreaths and roping for local businesses. Mr. Parker was predeceased by a son, Billy-Jo Parker, who died in March. Family members include his wife of 59 years, Patricia M. (Desclos) Parker; two daughters, Bonnie Greenman of Hollis, NH and Windy Wolfe of New Ipswich, NH; a son, Charles H. Parker, Jr. of Nashua, NH; two step daughters, Paula Weston of Idaho and Linda Weston of Hudson, NH; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Mack of Milford, NH, Shirley Mack of Milford, NH and Joanne Blais of Nashua, NH; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Silver Lake Road, Hollis, NH.
