Charles F. Bailey, Jr.

Charles F. Fred Bailey, Jr., 85, resident of Milford, NH, died January 17, 2008 at Greenbriar Healthcare Terrace in Nashua, NH. � He was born in Boston, MA on October 8, 1922, a son of the late Charles F. Bailey, Sr. and Eva B. (Parry) Bailey. � Mr. Bailey resided in Milford for more than 60 years. � He had been employed as a master mechanic for General Electric Company in Hooksett, NH for many years and held several patents.�In his earlier years, he worked at Abbott Machine, Wilton and the Coca Cola Company, Nashua, NH. � Mr. Bailey was a member of Custos Morum Lodge #42, I.O.O.F, Milford and a member of the AARP, Milford Chapter.�He enjoyed working in his workshop and was considered a jack of all trades. � He served in the Seabee's during World War II. � He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elisabeth A. Bette (Hilton) Bailey of Milford, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert M. & Phyllis Bailey of Center Harbor, NH; two nephews and a niece. � There are no services.�Burial will be in the spring.�In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.��
