Catherine E. Plant-Chamberlain

Catherine E. “Cathy” Plant-Chamberlain, 64, resident of Greenfield, NH, died on August 6, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH following a sudden illness. She was born on November 1, 1953 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Richard and Eleanor (Aikins) Carr. Cathy was raised and educated in Amherst, NH and graduated from Milford Area Senior High School, Class of 1971. She was a resident of Greenfield and Peterborough for many years and formerly lived in Milford, NH. Cathy enjoyed the outdoors, photography, Tole painting, knitting and was amazing at repairing oriental rugs. She had a great fondness for animals, especially the many cats she took in over the years. Most importantly, Cathy relished time spent with her family; she loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Chamberlain. Family members include her four children, Tori Plant of Mont Vernon, NH ,Chad Plant of Milford, NH, Shelley Weeks of Greenfield ,NH and Tyler Plant of Jaffrey NH; three grandchildren, Fallyn Weeks, Aria Lizotte and Teigan Lizotte. Memorial visiting hours are on Tuesday, August 14th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be private.
