Catherine A. Rosario

Catherine A. Rosario, 56, resident of Milford, New Hampshire, died July 12, 2010 at The Elms Care & Rehabilitation Center, Milford, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born in Portland, Maine on June 19, 1954, a daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Toppi) Rosario. Ms. Rosario was raised and educated in Portland, Maine and made her home in Milford for the past 10 years and formerly resided in St. Augustine, Florida for 16 years. She worked in the restaurant business for many years and had owned her own canteen business for a number of years. Ms. Rosario loved going to the beach, crafting and making jewelry. A nature and animal lover, she could often be found rescuing animals. Her true passion was spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and Michael Rosario; and a sister, Joanne Bathalon. Family members include her daughter, Marcella A. Rosario of Milford, NH; two sisters, Darlene Niemi and her husband, Robert of Nashua, NH, Cynthia Witts of Lowell, MA; a brother, Michael Tripodi and his wife, Dorothy of CO; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Rosario of IL; a brother-in-law, Joseph Bathalon of Concord, NH; many nieces, nephews and several cousins. Memorial visiting hours are Friday, July 16th from 2:00-5:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A reception will follow from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW, Milford.
