Carolyn A. Chapman

Carolyn A. Chapman, 71, resident of Bedford, died on June 11, 2014 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. She was born in Joplin, Missouri on August 11, 1942, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Nel (Braithewaite) Clayton. Mrs. Chapman resided in Bedford for the past two years and formerly made her home in Milford, NH for nine years and Springfield, MO for many years. While living in Milford, she was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. Mrs. Chapman was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was also an avid reader and had an exuberant love for dogs. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Gary C. Chapman, who died in 2012. Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Deanne Chapman of Bedford, NH; her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Timothy Harris of Manchester, NH; two grandchildren, Kacey and Lilly Chapman, both of Bedford, NH. There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 16th at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH.
