Carol M. Pavolaitis

Carol M. (Berube) Pavolaitis, 68, longtime resident of Milford, NH died peacefully in her home on May 17, 2013, following a long term illness. She was born on January 1, 1945 in Fitchburg, MA, a daughter of Maurice and Marguerite Berube and graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1963. Her great joys were her loving family, nature, arts, interior decorating, music, and flower gardens, especially daisies and wildflowers. She was a member of St Patrick Church in Milford for almost 40 years and more recently, was a volunteer for Milford Area Seniors. Carol was predeceased by a brother, Maurice J. Berube, Jr. Family members include her husband of 35 years, Joseph Pavolaitis; four children, Tammy Wetherbee, Tina Raczek, Tracy Guichard and Jeffrey Maynard; a stepson, Matthew Pavolaitis; seven grandchildren, Amanda and Joel Wetherbee, Garrett Maynard, Nicole, Aristidis, and Stephanie Vasilopoulos and Paige Raczek; a brother, Roger R. Berube; a sister, Sandra Boutilier; several nieces and nephews. In addition, she was also the foster mom to 25 children. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 31st at 10:30 am in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Refreshments will be served in the parish hall following the memorial mass. Burial will be private in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach, Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055.
