Carl Michael Marcucci, passed peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the age of 79. Carl was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on November 12, 1943, to the late Primo Marcucci and Stacia Krugla. He graduated from then Bishop Bradley High School in Manchester, New Hampshire and went on to study at Southern New Hampshire University where he received both his Bachelor of Science in Management and Master of Business Administration. Carl served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. During that time, he traveled the country in support of the war effort and proactively volunteered at Vietnamese orphanages. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1968. Carl had recently retired after more than 33 years with QA Technology Company in Hampton, New Hampshire. While at QA, he spent 24 years as the General Manager overseeing product quality assurance, world-wide sales, and marketing. He enjoyed business travel throughout the world, bringing home stories, photos, and cultural items to share with his family.
Carl, the most loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, is survived by his wife of 39 years, Christine Marcucci, their three children, Angela (husband Richard), Lauren, and Nathan (wife Kelsey), two grandchildren, Vivian and a baby due in early 2024, and his sisters Brenda and Gail (husband Denis). He was an avid, life-long sportsman, enjoying outdoor activities such as fly fishing, deer and bird hunting, gardening, and beekeeping. He was affiliated with the Nashua Fish and Game Association and a proponent of preserving nature for the enjoyment of all anglers and sportsmen. Despite traveling to more than 30 countries throughout his lifetime, his favorite place in the world was Pittsburg, New Hampshire. This legacy and appreciation for the Great North Woods will live on through his family, who will love and miss him every day.
Memorial visiting hours are on Friday, September 8th from 5:00-7:00pm at Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, New Hampshire. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9th at 11:00am at Saint Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, New Hampshire. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 460 Nashua Street, Milford, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
