Camille M. Long

Camille M. Long, 95, lifelong resident of Milford, NH, died on October 16, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Milford on July 12, 1923, the daughter of Salvatore and Virginia (Grella) Crisafulli. Camille had been employed as a bookkeeper for her father who owned and operated the Boston Shoe Stores in Wilton and Milford for many years. She also worked for the school lunch program in Milford. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed knitting, making crafts, wreaths and roping but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family whether it be holiday meals, apple picking or vacationing at Hampton Beach. Camille was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford and a member of the choir. She was a devoted daughter, mother, a loving grandmother and great grandmother. Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Long of Nashua, NH, Marilyn and Stephen Chamberlain of Stoddard, NH; two grandsons, Christopher Chamberlain of Stoddard, NH, Jon Chamberlain and his wife, Debra of Washington, NH; four great grandchildren, Emily, Nathaniel, Olivia and Camille; and many cousins. Calling hours are on Friday, October 19th from 4:00-7:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.
