Calvin H. Holt

Calvin H. Holt, 79, resident of Milford, NH, died October 27, 2010 at Crestwood Care & Rehabilitation Center, Milford, NH. He was born on January 5, 1931 in Nashua, NH, a son of the late Richard D. and Elizabeth (Harris) Holt. Mr. Holt resided in Nashua, NH for most of his life and following his retirement he moved to Tavares, FL. An entrepreneur in the computer field, he had owned several businesses including Infotek Company, Manchester, NH. For 30 years, he spent every summer with his family on Rattlesnake Island, Lake Winnipesaukee. What started as a small camp ended up being a beautiful summer home that family and friends enjoyed for many years. Mr. Holt was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954 with the rank of Airman First Class having earned several service medals and unit citations. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion L. (Nichols) Holt. Family members include two daughters, Deborah Trottier and Lynn Holt, both of Milford; a son, Richard Holt of Kensington, NH; five grandchildren, Robert, Sam, Diane, Sarah and Tim; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Drew; several nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 1:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Nashua, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Crestwood Care & Rehabilitation Center Activities Fund, 40 Crosby Street, Milford, NH 03055.
