Bruce B. Lavespere

Retired Air Force Maj. Bruce B. Lavespere, 64, resident of Milford, NH, died on May 3, 2017 at his home. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa on March 23, 1953, a son of Betty J. (Larson) Lavespere of Bossier City, LA and the late Buford H. Lavespere. Mr. Lavespere was a retired Air Force Major, having served his country honorably for more than 20 years. He was currently employed by AASKI Technology, Inc. where he worked as an engineer specializing in satellite communications. He enjoyed working around his home and took great pride in keeping his yard immaculate. In addition, he enjoyed traveling extensively all over the world for his work. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and most especially being a devoted grandfather to his six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Ford. In addition to his mother, family members include his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis E. (Woods) Lavespere of Milford, NH; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua L. and Kyla Lavespere of Milford, NH, Aaron M. and Angela Lavespere of Nashua, NH, Joel M. and Amy Lavespere of Tacoma, WA; six grandchildren, Rhiannon, Grace, Danica, Teagan, Emmersyn and Reese; two sisters, Diane McDonald of Bossier City, LA and Nancy Ford of Kansas City, KS. There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 10th at 12:00 noon in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway Route 3, Boscawen, NH 03303. A celebration of his life will follow at 4:00pm in the Bridge Community Church, 65 West Street, Milford, NH. All who knew and loved Bruce are welcomed to attend.
