Brenda L. Jameson

Brenda L. Jameson, 79, a resident of Amherst, NH died on September 27, 2021 at Crestwood Healthcare Center in Milford, NH. She was born on November 18, 1941 in Wilton, NH, a daughter of the late Donald Draper and Arline (Shattuck) Draper Heinonen. Brenda was raised and educated in Wilton, graduated as Salutatorian of her class from Wilton High School, and studied art at Keene Teachers College. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Houghton, (Perfect Smiles) in Nashua, NH for several years. Previously she worked for many years at the Brentwood School. Brenda was an accomplished pianist, talented painter, especially oil. In addition, she enjoyed gardening, loved animals and was also an author, publishing a science fiction book, “The Very Foreign Exchange Family”. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints congregation in Nashua, NH for many years, where she volunteered in numerous capacities and was involved with their music program and often played for services. Family members include her loving husband of 38 years, Kenneth J. Jameson of Amherst, NH; her children and their spouses, Michael and Nalini Scott of Saunderstown, RI, Jennifer and Craig Nelson of Port Charlotte, FL, Timothy and Rebecca Scott of Cumberland, RI, Marlena Scott of Manchester, NH, Jonathan and Lisa Scott of Hollis, NH, Daniel and Kimberly Scott of Hollis, NH, Dustin and Elizabeth Scott of Hollis, NH; 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews and one niece; and a stepsister, Brenda Sirois of Milford, NH. Visiting hours are on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4:00-7:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Abbot Hill Road, Wilton, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, Bedford, NH or the Alzheimer’s Association.
