Bobbie Bentley

Bobbie Bentley, 88, longtime resident of Wilton, NH died on December 21, 2014 at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milford, NH. She was born in Motherwell, Scotland on May 30, 1926, a daughter of Frederick and Jane Robinson. In 1952, she married H. Roy Bentley and a year later they moved to Canada where they made their home for 20 years. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 1973 and lived in Wellesley, MA and Dunstable, MA for many years before moving to Wilton, NH in 2001. Mrs. Bentley was a championship hockey player, she taught skating and enjoyed sewing, gardening and taking care of all types of animals. She was a veteran of the British Army Educational Corp. In addition, she was a member of Bent Burke Post #10 American Legion, Wilton. She was predeceased by her husband, H. Roy Bentley, who died in 2012. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Ian Bentley and Mary Fish of New Ipswich, NH; two daughters, Alison Bentley of Vale, NC, Fiona Reeve, DVM and her husband, Stephen Reeve of Pembroke, NH; four grandchildren, Graeme and Tristan Bentley, Tyler and Kaylie Reeve. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 28th from 2:00-4:00 pm at 366 Captain Clark Highway, Wilton, NH.
