Betty Ann Tardiff

Betty Ann (West) Tardiff, 83, resident of Milford, N.H., died June 5, 2019, at her residence. She was born January 5, 1936, in Portage Lake, ME daughter of the late Dana H. West and Rose Ann (Frazier) West. Betty had been a resident of Milford for the past seventeen years and had formerly resided in Washburn, ME for 45 years. Betty graduated from Ashland High School in 1953 and worked sporadically for McCain Foods. She married George F. “Fred” Tardiff on February 22, 1955. Together they had four children, Debra Rose Morell of Dunnellon, FL, Lori Anne Sherman of St. Albans, VT, Michele, Marie Michaud of Dover, NH, and Chris Frederick Tardiff of Milford, NH. Betty was blessed with ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren with another one on the way. Betty was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and three sisters, Sandra Stavens of South Windsor, CT, Barbara Snowman of Millinocket, ME, and Janet Estes of Nashua, N.H. Betty is survived by her children, sons-in-law, William Sherman and Vincent Michaud, daughter-in-law, Tina (Lowe) Tardiff, her sister, Claudette (West) Ball of Nashua, NH, and many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial celebrating Betty’s life will be held at 10am on Saturday June 8, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH 03062 with father Ray Labrie presiding. Family and friends are invited to arrive at the church for a short visitation beginning at 9:15am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Betty’s memory to the American Heart Association.
