Bernice E. Sanborn

Bernice E. Sanborn, 83, resident of Milford, NH, died March 29, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 30, 1927, a daughter of Floyd W. and Victoria A. (Jensen) White. Prior to moving to Milford several years ago, she had made her home in Merrimack, NH. In her earlier years, she lived in Belmont, NH for 25 years, where she raised her children and later moved to Nashua. Mrs. Sanborn had been employed for New England Telephone Company in Franklin and Concord, NH. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, arranging flowers and was a wonderful cook. Mrs. Sanborn was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford. Family members include her husband of 67 years, Milton H. Sanborn of Merrimack, NH; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian W. and Genia Sanborn of Milford, Donald M. Sanborn of Leominster, MA; two daughters and a son-in-law, Victoria P. and Daniel Moriarty of Nashua, NH, Maureen Cohen of Peterborough, NH; 10 Grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams, Tim Mullikin, Jodi Sanborn, Tobey Sanborn, Stacey Sanborn, Christina Sanborn, Joey Sanborn, Adar Cohen, Neely Cohen and Kelly Joseph; six great grandchildren, Melanie Williams, Curtis Williams, Dylan Joseph, Ryan Joseph, Samuel Franklin and Abigail Franklin; a great-great grandson, Ryder S. Mousseau; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Pearl of Loudon Ridge, NH, Elizabeth Murphy of Pittsburg, PA; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Monday, April 4th from 12:00-1:30 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, NH.
