Barbara R. Blake

Barbara R. Blake, 81, longtime resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died on August 4, 2017 at her home. She was born in Mont Vernon on July 30, 1936, a daughter of Arthur O. and Ruth (Salisbury) Robinson. Barbara was a resident of Mont Vernon, NH for most of her life and had been employed as a computer technician for Velcro Company, Manchester, NH for 20 years. She loved animals, especially cats and birds and also enjoyed gardening and working on various craft projects. Barbara was predeceased by her son, Harold Blake and a son-in-law, Stephen Mudgett, Sr. Family members include two sons, Michael Blake and Randy Blake of Mont Vernon, NH; three daughters and a son-in-law; Sherry Mudgett of Port Richey, FL, Deborah and Bryant Steele of Allenstown, NH, Julia Payne of NH; and Donna Davidson, whom she considered a daughter; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Gaudet of Waltham, MA; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are on Thursday, August 10th from 6:00-8:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH.
