Barbara J. Collins

Barbara J. Collins, 79, resident of Brookline, NH, died on July 12, 2018 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born in New Jersey on January 11, 1939, a daughter of William and Beatrice (Clark) Meuer. Barbara was raised and educated in New Jersey and graduated from Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, CA, with a degree in animal husbandry. She made her home in Brookline for more than 25 years. Barbara enjoyed crafting, cooking, canning and was an avid 4H Leader and volunteer. She most especially loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith R. Collins; and her daughter-in-law, Katie A. Hamilton. Family members include a daughter, Deborah Dobrowski of New Jersey; four sons, Timothy S. Hamilton of Milford, NH, Michael I. Hamilton and Liam P. Hamilton, both of Brookline, NH and William B. Collins of Charlestown, NH; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Kithcart of NJ; a niece and a nephew. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at 10:00 am in Lakeside Cemetery, Brookline, NH.
