Barbara Elizabeth Schultz

Barbara Elizabeth (Warren) Schultz, 79, of Wilton, NH, passed away on June 10th, 2012 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH after a brief illness. She was born in Lyndeborough, NH on November 2nd, 1932, the daughter of the late E. George Warren and Elsie C. (Swinington) Warren. She graduated from Wilton High School in 1950 and also attended classes at Nashua Business College. She was the wife of the late Clifford S. “Stan” Schultz, Jr. of Wilton whom she married on September 4th, 1954 and who passed away on February 10th, 2010. Mrs. Schultz served as Deputy Town Clerk and Tax Collector for the Town of Wilton, NH for 14 years retiring in 1988. She had previously worked for the Abbot Machine Company as well as the Gregg Free Library in Wilton, and later at the Hayward’s Trading Post in Milford, NH. She also served as a member of the Wilton Budget Committee as well as the District Clerk for the Wilton Lyndeborough School District, and was a member of the 2nd Congregational Church of Wilton. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward C. Warren, Carl A. Warren and her sister, Elsie L. Rockwood. She is survived by her devoted son, Thomas C. Schultz and his wife, Melissa J. Schultz of Wilton; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Jonathan C. Schultz and Jessica D. Schultz of Wilton; her sister, Dorothy (Warren) Conyne of Sarasota, FL; her brother-in-law, Robert Bellew of Milford; many loving nieces and nephews, her many friends, and her wonderful cat, Moe. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15th at 11:00 am in the 2nd Congregational Church, Corner of Dale & Gregg Street, Wilton, NH. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Wilton. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Wilton Lyndeborough Youth Center (Goss Park), P.O.
