Arthur Edmondson, Jr.

Arthur Edmondson, Jr., 68, longtime resident of Milford, NH died on November 10, 2015 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Scranton, PA on September 22, 1947, a son of Arthur Edmondson, Sr. and Janet (Iffland) Edmondson. From the age of 11, he was raised by his grandparents, Butch and Margaret Edmondson. Arthur was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University. He had been employed as a software engineer for BAE Systems for 35 years. Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing in Pennsylvania with his family and working on model trains. He was an active member of the Milford United Methodist Church and operated the sound booth. Arthur was a loving husband, a devoted father and adored his grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, William Edmondson. Family members include his wife of 41 years, Marilynn J. (Dadey) Edmondson of Milford; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jenny Lawton of Milford, Kari and Jim Lasky of Amherst, NH; a son, David Edmondson of Sherman Oaks, CA; two grandchildren, Gavin Lawton and Natalie Lawton; a sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Thomas Wasko of PA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Linda Edmondson of PA, Robert and Becky Edmondson of NY, Gary and Fran Edmondson of PA; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 am in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the church.
