Annie Jane (Grugnale) Cooper, of Milford, NH, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 8, 2024, at the age of 66.
Annie was born on February 28, 1958, in Nashua, NH, the ninth of thirteen children. She graduated from Milford High School in 1976 and spent most of her life in Milford.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Jeannette and Aquiline Grugnale. Annie was predeceased by her sister Jeannette, and brothers Maurice, Robert, Alan, and Kevin Grugnale.
Annie is survived by her devoted partner of 31 years, Tim Spencer of Milford; her son, Tim Grugnale of Greenville, NH; and her cherished grandson, Dillon Grugnale of Greenville. She is also survived by her siblings: Emilio Grugnale of Milford; Roger and Carmel Grugnale of Manchester, NH; Donna and Frank Asselin of Milford; Maureen Giardina and partner Rick Saben of Milford; Aquiline Grugnale Jr. of Jaffrey, NH; Lori and Ed Stapf of Milford; and Bonnie and her late husband Jean Audet of Milford. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she adored.
Annie was a kind and loving person with a deep passion for cats. She enjoyed simple pleasures like playing Solitaire, taking drives, eating seafood, and watching her favorite shows, Little House on the Prairie and Gunsmoke. A fan of classic rock, Annie especially loved listening to Tom Petty. Throughout her life, Annie was known for her bright smile, generosity, and the warmth she brought to others. Even on difficult days, she was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Her heart was truly one of a kind.
Annie worked as a machine operator and assembler at Hy-Ten Plastics for 14 years before recently retiring.
Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we find comfort in knowing that Annie is now at peace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Annie's life will be held at a later date.
