Anne Sherman

Anne Sherman, 86, resident of Milford, NH, died December 13, 2011 at her home. She was born in Lynn, MA on June 9, 1925, a daughter of Abraham and Goldie (Gerbenik) Cohen. Mrs. Sherman resided in Milford for a short time and formerly lived in West Palm Beach, FL for 22 years and Florence, MA, for many years. She was an avid swimmer, enjoyed attending Broadway shows, traveling and taking cruises with her beloved husband. Mrs. Sherman and her husband owned and operated Sherman Jewelers, Northampton, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Sherman, who died in 2006. Family members include two daughters, Roberta Sanctuary of Milford, NH, Paula Mandel of Longmeadow, MA; and three grandchildren. Services will be private. Burial will be in the South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph Home and Hospice Care, 24 North River Road, Milford.
