Angie L. Standley

Angie L. Standley, 57, resident of New Ipswich, NH, died November 10, 2011 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. She was born in Agawam, MA on September 7, 1954, a daughter of the late Ernest and Grace (Battis) Martin. Angie was raised in Milford by her foster parents, Marion and Joseph Trempe, and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1973. She made her home in New Ipswich for more than 30 years and was active along with her husband in the Boy Scouts of America, putting on suppers and the scouting for food drive. In addition, she was a 20 year member of Watatic Grange. Angie had been employed as a machine operator for Sterilite Corporation, Townsend, MA. She loved animals, especially her pappillon and always enjoyed doing for others. Angie was a loving wife and devoted to her granddaughter, whom she raised. Family members include her husband of 21 years, George M. Standley of New Ipswich, NH; her granddaughter, Brittany M. Hughes of New Ipswich, NH; a daughter, Serena Wasznicky of Fitchburg, MA; six sisters, Linda Goding of Greenville, NH, Bertha Martin and Betty Cleveland, both of Wilton, NH, Patty Guilbeaut of AZ, Laura Bradford of FL and Noreen Martin; a brother, Billy Martin of Lowell, MA; her foster brother, Gene Trempe of Milford, NH; many nieces and nephews. At her request, there are no services.
