Angelo A. Bucchino

Angelo A. Bucchino, 99, resident of Milford, NH, died August 7, 2012 at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milford, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Boston, MA on December 10, 1912, a son of Cosmo and Maria (DelVecchio) Bucchino. Raised and educated in Boston’s North End, it is also where he met and married the love of his life, Grace M. (DeMarco) Bucchino, his wife of 73 years, who died in 2007. Mr. Bucchino lived in Milford since 1996 and formerly made his home in Everett, MA for more than 20 years. He had been employed as an insurance salesman for John Hancock Company, Boston, MA for 30 years. Mr. Bucchino enjoyed bowling and playing cribbage. He was a faithful communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford and a 4th degree member of Milford Council #3035 Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Moretti and Helen Giacchino; and a brother, Alphonse Bucchino. Family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Chris Pank of Milford, NH, Cecily and Michael Markham of Pepperell, MA; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Angelo C. Bucchino of Frostburg, MD, Fr. John Bucchino, OFM of Manchester, NH, Joseph T. and Iris Bucchino of Cedar Grove, NJ; 13 Grandchildren; 4 Great Granchildren; a sister, Lucy Rago of Revere, MA; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Friday, August 10th from 3:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
