Alma R. Brown

Alma R. Brown, 95, formerly of Milord, NH died November 7, 2009 at the Hospice House in Dade City, Florida. She was born in Francestown, NH on April 4, 1914, a daughter of the late Arthur J. & Marie (Dube) Vanderheyden. Mrs. Brown was raised and educated in Milford, NH. For more than 25 years, she had been employed for Abbott Mills in Wilton, NH. In the early 1970�s, she moved to Florida where she had made her home for more than 35 years. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Church in Zephyrhills and a former communicant of Saint Patrick�s Church in Milford. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her first husband, George F. Frye in 1963, her second husband, Nelson Brown in 1980, and her son, Gary Frye, who died October 13, 2009. Family members include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Leon & Nancy Frye of Milford, NH and Ronald Frye of Lebanon, Oregon; six grandchildren and their spouses, Stacey & Phillip Jepson of Moultonborough, NH, Craig & Wendy Frye of Milford, NH, Scott & Susan Frye of Nashua, NH, Todd & Dawn Frye of Northfield, NH, James Frye and Cynthia Frye, both of Marietta, GA; seven great grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Madelyn, Zachary, Matthew, Nicholas and Jacob; a sister, Yvonne Castelanno of Zephyrhills; several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the HPH Hospice House 37445 Clinton Avenue, Dade City, Florida 33525. Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of local arrangements.
