Alicia C. Shea

Alicia C. Shea, 84, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on April 17, 2023 at the Bedford Hills Nursing Center, Bedford, NH.

She was born on February 15, 1939 in Amherst, NH, the daughter of the late Louis and Miriam (Small) Amadio. Alicia was raised and educated in Milford, having graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1957. She also attended the Nashua Business School.

Alicia had been employed as a secretary for the Milford School District, and also worked at Chemserve for several years. She was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church, Milford.

She loved camping and spending time with friends and family.

Alicia was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Malcolm F. Shea, who died March 16, 2023; her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and William Riehl; two grandsons, William and Sean Riehl.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews; a foster daughter, Deborah Gray and her husband Ken and their children, Jessica and Jennifer of Jefferson, NH; and Dennis Fallon, who has cared for Alicia for many years.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Friday, April 21st from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A funeral service will follow the visiting hour at 10:30am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH.
