Alice C. Levesque

Alice C. Levesque, 95, resident of Nashua, NH, died August 29, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua. She was born in Grafton, NH on December 17, 1916, a daughter of Lee and Margaret B. (Robie) Underhill. Mrs. Levesque made her home in Nashua for more than 25 years and formerly resided in Milford for several years and also lived in Sarasota, FL. Mrs. Levesque graduated from West Lebanon High School in 1935. She studied nursing at Melrose Nursing School as well as New College in Sarasota, FL. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Sarasota, FL and also as a private duty nurse for many years. For more than 20 years, she volunteered at the Nashua Senior Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Romeo Levesque; her sister, Gladys Remick and her half-sister, Lorraine Bean. Family members include several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Memorial visiting hours are Thursday, September 6th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
