Alfred L. Thompson

Alfred L. Thompson, 81, longtime resident of Greenville, NH died on April 26, 2020 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. He was born in Kittery, Maine on May 16, 1938, a son of Leighton and Edna (Fontaine) Thompson. He made his home in Greenville for more than 40 years. Mr. Thompson owned and operated Al Thompson Flooring for many years. He enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles and hunting. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1959. Mr. Thompson was predeceased by his wife, Ramona (Willette) Thompson; and siblings, Almena, Rodney, Robert, Emma,Joanne and Francis. Family members include his two daughters, Lisa and Susan; three stepchildren, Cathy, Rusty and Billy; a sister, Mary Webber; a brother, Skip Thompson; his longtime companion, Marie MacDonald; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, July 24th at 10:00am in Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua, NH. Those attending are asked to adhere to current guidelines by wearing a mask and observing social distancing.
