Alfred L. Lysik of Wilton, NH, passed away on November 25, 2018. Al was born in Webster, MA on August 25, 1924 to the late Leon and Mary (Swiatek) Lysik who immigrated from Kanna, Poland. He resided in Hollis, NH for most of his life before moving to Wilton, NH. For more than 40 years, Al was employed by Nashua Corporation in various engineering positions, retiring in 1986 as Director of Plant Engineering. Al loved life and enjoyed time spent with his family along with gardening, cooking, traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking, skiing and fishing. Rangeley, Maine was his favorite summer vacation place. He was involved with Boy Scout Troop 12 in Hollis, NH scheduling monthly activities which included camping, trail clearing, hiking and ice fishing among a few of the things the scouts enjoyed. He was also a member of the Y Indian Guides. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Veronica C. Lysik in 1995; a daughter, Deborah C. Meins in 2010 along with his two sisters, Sandra Del-Val and Sonia Allen. Survivors include his best friend and companion, Alice E. Vargish of Wilton, NH; daughters, Kathleen M. McGinness and her partner, Charles Raeburn of Hampton, NH, Elizabeth A. Lysik of Keene, NH, Janet V. Tombarello and her partner, Christopher Kuntze of Whitefield, NH; and a son, John A. Lysik and his wife, Nancylynn of Hollis, NH; He leaves four grandchildren, Jessica Pinnetti of Mashpee, MA, Amber Orr and her husband, Ethan of Leesville, LA, Jacob and Jocelyn Lysik of Hollis, NH, along with five great grandchildren, Vincent and Stella Pinnetti of Mashpee, MA, Camden, Alexander and Wyatt Orr of Leesville, LA; He also leaves a niece, Glenda Holcomb of Richmond, VA. At Mr. Lysik’s request, funeral services and burial will be private.
