ALDEN J. RUSH � DATELINE:�NASHUA, NH � Alden J. Jimmy Rush, 55, resident of Nashua, NH, died peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2007 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. � He was born in Peterborough, NH on November 22, 1951, a son of the late Raymond J. Rush, Sr. & Frances (Ellsworth) Rush.�He was a graduate of Milford High School.� � He had been employed by Kinzey Wood Products, Milford, for several years. � Jimmy will be always be remembered for his kindness and his willingness to help anyone who needed it.�He was always there for you; if you needed help working around your house, he was the first to volunteer.�His nephew, Randy Rush, remembers, I can't tell you how many times he helped me work on my cars or my motorcycles.�Jimmy had a great sense of humor, naming his three legged dog Randy after me.�Jimmy could always be counted on to share a great story whether it was true or not, it was great entertainment. � Jimmy had great affection for his family.�One of the highlights of his life was his trip to Norway to visit his brother, Wayne and his family.�This was a treasured memory for him.�His love for his sisters, Shirley and Priscilla Pat was also a hallmark of his life.� � Jimmy was diagnosed with cancer 20 years ago and given a year to live.�He never accepted this prognosis and kept going until this most recent bout with cancer.�He lived with his parents in Milford until their passing and later moved to Nashua to live on his own. � He was a member of the Demolay Group, the Lafayette Artillery; in his younger days, he was an avid cyclist and also enjoyed archery.�He was an honorary member of the Christian Bible Church in Nashua and a member of the church Men's Club. � � � � � Family members include two sisters, Shirley Leaor of Myrtle Beach, SC, Priscilla Young of Nashua, NH; two brothers, Wayne Rush of Norway and Gerald Rush of Nashua, NH; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. � There are no visiting hours.�A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 3:00 pm in the Christian Bible Church, 205 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH.�Burial will be in West Street Cemetery, Milford, at a later date.�In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Christian Bible Church Building Fund, 205 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH�03064.�Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.
