Albert J. Garneau, 68, resident of Milford, NH, died unexpectedly on October 28, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born in Lowell, MA on February 13, 1950, a son of Albert J. Garneau and Theresa (Giroux) Garneau. He was raised and educated in Lowell and graduated from Lowell Trade School. He made his home in Milford for the past six years and formerly resided in Hastings, Nebraska for seven years. Albert began his working career as a drywaller for 20 years. He later owned and operated his own tractor-trailer business for many years and more recently had been employed as an instructor for New England Tractor Trailer Training School. Albert enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and watching football. He most especially loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his sister, Denise Redman, who died September 28, 2018 and his brother-in-law, Richard Redman. Family members include his wife, Dawn M. (Funkey) Garneau of Milford, NH; five children, Katelyn, Andrew and Nicholas Garneau, all of Milford, NH, Traci Olson and her husband Drew of Missouri and Timothy Garneau of Newton, MA; two grandchildren, Miranda and Logan Olson; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Ann-Marie Garneau of Nashua, NH; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial visiting hours are on Friday, November 2nd from 3:00-5:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
