Agnes W. Fay

Agnes W. Fay, 90, resident of Merrimack, NH died May 15, 2012 at Bedford Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford, NH. She was born in Norwalk, CT on March 17, 1922, a daughter of Charles J. and Helen M. (Kiernan) Wacha. Mrs. Fay lived most of her life in Norwalk, CT. She resided in Mount Laurel, NJ for more than 10 years and later moved to Amherst, NH. For the past several years she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law in Merrimack, NH and spent many enjoyable summers with her family on Lake Winnipesaukee. She had been employed as a legal secretary for her late husband’s law firm, Fay, Attorney at Law, and had also worked for the Norwalk Sheriff’s Department. In addition, she was an avid reader and enjoyed rug hooking, bird watching, her beloved poodles as well as all animals. Mrs. Fay was a communicant of Saint Patrick Church, Milford, NH. She was predeceased by her husband, John R. Fay and their son, John R. Fay Jr. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher W. Fay III and his wife, Carolyn of Venice, CA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Anthony Varga of Merrimack, NH, Patricia Fay and Mairtin McDonough of Inismeain County, Galway, Ireland; several nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 18th at 1:00 pm in Saint Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, CT on Saturday.
