William D. Martel Sr.

William D. Martel Sr. resident of Nashua NH, died October 1, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 19, 1944 in Milford NH, a son of the late Kenneth R. & Mable D. (Burgesson) Martel. Bill was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Era Veteran. He was employed for Hitchiner Manufacturing Company in Milford for 20 years. Bill was a member of the VFW Post #4368 Milford NH. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. Family members include two sons William D. Martel Jr. of Manchester, NH, Robert J. Martel of Derry, NH; two daughters, Victoria J. Howard of Norway ME, Sallyann Martel of Pittson, ME; a brother, Joseph J. Martel of Vermont; eleven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
