Ruth G. Adams, 81, resident of West Wilton, NH, died June 1, 2008 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in New Ipswich, NH.� She was born in West Wilton, NH on March 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Vernon & Hattie (Fish) Greeley.� Mrs. Adams was a lifelong resident of West Wilton.� � She had worked at Tricnit in New Ipswich, NH, Scarborough Company, Milford, Temple School Lunch Program and packed apples at the Dan Barry Farm in Temple.� In addition, she volunteered her time cooking for the Wilton Lions Club suppers.� Mrs. Adams was well known for baking cookies, sewing American Girl doll clothes and also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.� She was an avid Boston Celtics fan. �She attended the First Unitarian Congregational Society, West Wilton.� Mrs. Adams was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother.� She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Adams, who died in 1985.� Family members include five daughters and sons-in-law, Gail Britton of Windsor, VT, Judy & James Boutwell, Nancy & Philip LaBossiere, all of Peterborough, NH, Pam & Nick Kenney of New Ipswich, NH, Bonnie & Thomas Paquette of Bennington, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Libby Adams of Wilton, NH; 13 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren and her 13th due in several weeks; two sisters, Jean Vincent and Joyce Fisk, both of Wilton, NH; a brother, Richard Greeley of Wilton, NH; many nieces and nephews.������ Visiting hours are Wednesday, June 4th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in Vale End Cemetery, Wilton Center, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Lung Association of New Hampshire, 20 Warren Street, Suite 4, Concord, NH� 03301.�
