Patricia P. Martin

Patricia P. Martin, 73, resident of Milford, NH, died March 29, 2011 at Crestwood Care and Rehabilitation Center, Milford, with her family by her side. She was born in Winchendon, MA on June 21, 1937, a daughter of Cyrus Parks, Sr. and Ethel (Webb) Parks. Mrs. Martin resided in Milford for several months and formerly lived in Wilton, NH for 25 years and Rindge, NH for 28 years. In in her earlier years, she had been employed in the office at Abbott Machine Company, Wilton and later at Chappell Tractors, Milford, NH. Mrs. Martin was a Girl Scout Leader for several years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch and painting. In addition, she was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was a member of the Wilton Lioness and WLC Booster Club. Mrs. Martin was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by a brother, Cyrus Parks, Jr. Family members include her husband of 55 years, Arthur J. Martin, Jr. of Milford; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Priscilla Martin of Francestown, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Craig Morse of Wilton, NH; four grandchildren, Brandi, Derek, Ashley and Christopher; one great grandchild, Anthony; a niece and a nephew. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at 2:30 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wilton.
