Nancy Tishler of Falmouth, MA died May 29, 2011 at Community Hospice in Merrimack, NH surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on July 6, 1922 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late C. Earl and Florence (Mason) Crook. She resided for many years in Wellesley and Weston before retiring to the Cape in 1976 with her husband, Mark Tishler, who predeceased her in 1995. Nancy and Mark were avid sailors and volunteered extensively for the Boston Symphony and Wang Center for the Performing Arts. Nancy was also a docent for many years at Heritage Museum in Sandwich and served on the Board of the Cape Cod Conservatory. Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her brother George Crook and his wife Judy of Bluffton, SC, her sons Peter Martin and his wife Lynn Freeman of Meriden, NH, Arthur Martin and his wife Kimberley of Mont Vernon, NH, her daughter Joan Edgarton and her husband Chip of Amherst, NH, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and Ellen Merchant Kahler, daughter of her loving companion, Roy Merchant, who predeceased her in 2008.
