Louise I. Poor

Louise I. Poor, 90, lifelong resident of Milford, NH, died April 18, 2010 at her home. She was born in Nashua, NH on May 9, 1919, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Elizabeth (Newbold) Jarest. Mrs. Poor had been employed by Fletcher’s Paint Store in Milford for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and gardening. She was predeceased by her first husband, James J. Picard; her second husband, Robert W. Poor; three brothers, Jack Jarest Gallagher, Lawrence Jarest and Norman Jarest. Family members include her daughter, Judith L. (Picard) Poor of Milford; a son and daughter-in-law, James J. and Velma Ann Poor of Milford; three grandchildren, Lou-Ann Poor of Milford, James J. Poor, Jr. of Naples, FL, Jodi R. Jensen and her husband, Curt of Brookline, NH; five great grandchildren; Jered, Macyn, Cheyann, B.J. and Keri-Ann; and a niece, Theresa Jarest. Funeral services are private.
