Lloyd R. White, 90, resident of Milford, NH died unexpectedly on October 17, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born in Jonesboro, ME on December 30, 1926, a son of Roland and Lillian (Scott) White. He made his home in Milford for more than 50 years. Lloyd had been employed by Hendrix Wire & Cable Company in Milford for 17 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was a member of the NH Trappers Association and did “trouble trapping” in several local towns and for The State of New Hampshire. This was something he enjoyed doing for 77 years. In addition, he was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church. Lloyd’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife, Elsie (Reynolds) White, who died in 1985. Family members include his daughter, Melanie R. Grassett of Milford; and her three children, Kimberly, Joseph and Jacob; three sons, Harry White of Machias, ME, Timothy White of Merrimack, NH and Kim White of Concord, NC and their families. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be announced.
