Gregory S. Macdonald

Gregory S. MacDonald, 51, resident of Milford, NH, died unexpectedly on December 5, 2017 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH. He was born in Anaheim, CA on August 14, 1966, a son of Irma (Cocks) MacDonald of Wilton, NH and the late Ronald A. MacDonald, Sr. Greg made his home in Milford for the past 28 years and formerly lived in Southern California for many years. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator in the excavation industry. Greg enjoyed woodworking, camping, and the great outdoors. In addition, he also enjoyed surfing in his younger years. His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids whether it was walking the trails or their trips to the beach. In addition to his mother, family members include two daughters, Cassandra MacDonald and Allyson MacDonald, both of Milford; his fiancée, Melanie Melanson of Milford; two stepchildren, Elizabeth Melanson of Milford and William Melanson of Wilton, NH; two grandchildren, Jayden and Arianna; five brothers, Ronald MacDonald, Jr. of CA, Steven MacDonald of IA, Kenneth MacDonald of CA, Keith MacDonald of CA and Brian MacDonald of NH; four sisters, Linda Flynn of NH, Cindy Alberti of IL, Debbie Burge of NH and Wendy Bauerschmidt of NH; A beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours are on Monday, December 11th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford, NH. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford.
