Eunice M. Crisafulli

Eunice M (Vercontaire) Crisafulli Milford, N.H. - Eunice M. (Vercontaire) Crisafulli, 91, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Crisafulli, born in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 5, 1924, was the daughter of the late Henry Vercontaire and the late Rebecca (Rousseau) Vercontaire. She graduated from Lowell High School after which she worked, during the Second World War, at Fort Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts. Mrs. Crisafulli moved to Milford, N.H. upon her marriage to Sebastiano Crisafulli, and resided there until her death. After raising her children, Mrs. Crisafulli worked for many years at Kenmore Stamp Company in Milford. Mrs. Crisafulli’s passions were cooking, baking, sewing and knitting, in all of which she excelled and shared her talents with others. She took pride in her skills as a home-maker, and in later years, as a caregiver to her loving husband. Besides her husband of sixty-five years, Mrs. Crisafulli is survived by her four children, Gloria Hansen of Sterling, Virginia, Janet Kelly of Peabody, Massachusetts, Brenda Crisafulli of Milford and Michael Crisafulli of Brooklyn, N.Y.; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her adored sister Claudette A. Coughlin of Milford, and her sister-in-law Anna Vercontaire of Dracut, Massachusetts, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Crisafulli is pre-deceased by, in addition to her parents, her sister Gloria Vercontaire and her brother Donald Vercontaire. Visiting hours are at Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, N.H. on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 4 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday December 5, 2015, at 9 am at St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Milford.
